About the Pottery

Hook Norton Pottery is owned and run by Russell Collins. Russell studied at Harrow Art School and has been producing hand-thrown pots at Hook Norton Pottery since establishing his workshop in 1969. During this time Russell has established both a national and international reputation and has worked with renowned potters such as Norah Braden, Mick Casson, Colin Pearson and David Leach.

Situated on the edge of England's beautiful Cotswolds, the Pottery is housed in specially converted farm buildings dating back to the 17th Century. Potters participate in all stages of production, which includes throwing on a traditional potters wheel, decorating, and glazing the pots as well as kiln firing.

Holiday Cottages

Within the Pottery complex there are 3 holiday cottages available for short, long or holiday lets. For more information please visit Manor Cottages.
